By accessing or using Recontact ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

Recontact provides contact form management services that allow website owners to receive and manage messages submitted through HTML forms on their websites.

Recontact provides a backend service for contact forms, including:

• Form submission handling and processing
• Email notification delivery
• Spam protection via CAPTCHA and rate limiting
• Message storage and management
• Blocklist functionality for harassment prevention

The Service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time.

To use Recontact, you must register a domain and provide a valid email address. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Ensuring your contact information is accurate and up-to-date
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You may only register domains that you own or have authorization to use. Fraudulent registration may result in immediate termination of your account.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the rights of others
• Transmit spam, malware, or malicious code
• Use the service to harass or intimidate others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Collect or harvest personal information without consent
• Use the Service for any fraudulent or deceptive purpose

All web pages using Recontact must include an attribution link to Recontact. Failure to do so may result in termination of your account.

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who violates these Terms, including removing content, terminating accounts, blocking IP addresses and reporting to law enforcement.

The Service implements rate limiting to prevent abuse and ensure fair usage. Excessive use may result in temporary or permanent restrictions on your account or your IP address.

We reserve the right to set and modify usage limits at our discretion. Current limits include per-IP rate limiting for form submissions.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with applicable data protection laws, including obtaining necessary consents from end users who submit forms.

The Service, including its code, design, and documentation, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without our express written permission.

You retain all rights to the content submitted through your forms. By using the Service, you grant us a license to process and store this content as necessary to provide the Service.

The Service uses Cloudflare Turnstile for CAPTCHA functionality. Your use of this feature is subject to Cloudflare's terms and privacy policy.

We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services integrated with Recontact.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected. You use the Service at your own risk.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RECONTACT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Recontact and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Termination does not relieve you of any obligations incurred prior to termination.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
